Tours highlights of Singapore with lunch

Your driver and guide waiting for you with the welcome at the Cruise Terminal. Starting with a drive to the lively Little India which is mostly home to Tamil people. Prepare for filling your eyes with colorful scenery through local mosques, churches, and Hindu temples. Make your camera ready that you definitely don’t want to miss any artistic scene to produce a unique photoshoot.

After that, driver will take you to the mouth of the Singapore River. Witness Merlion statue – the symbol of this country – standing right in front of the spectacular view over Singapore Bay. Merlion has the head of a lion and the tail of a fish which represents for the fishing industry of Singapore in the old time. The statue also serves as a huge magnificent fountain which water flows from its mouth into the sea a few feet away. A tour to the financial hub like Singapore, cannot miss a visit to a foreign exchange center. However, the cross-culture heavily influences leading to the highlight of this area goes to Sri Mariamman Temple – one of the oldest and most ornate of Hindu Temples landing on the center of Singapore China Town.

After being overwhelmed by colors and the bustling vibes, take a relaxing time by visiting the Singapore Botanic Gardens, known as the “green lung” of the island. 128 acres full of green plants were opened in front of your eyes. Free yourself with a calmly stroll along, feel the serene atmosphere inside the natural space. Explore the National Orchid Garden where a plenty of orchid species are displayed.

Finally, take a seat in a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch with Singapore specialties. All the quintessence of this culture combines into a diverse meal. After lunch, enjoy free shopping time in some shopping malls before heading back to the Cruise Terminal in the afternoon around 16:00. The trip completes when driver transfers you back to port.

In the evening, at 7 pm, your guide and driver will be back at the Cruise Terminal to take you to the world’s first Night Safari Park in Singapore shore excursions. Hop on a tram ride for a 40-minute long journey to seven mock geographical regions, from the Himalayan foothills to jungles of Southeast Asia. Have a close-up view of more than 2,500 nocturnal animals while listening to the informative onboard audio commentary.

The popular “Creatures of the Night” showcases special abilities of nocturnal creatures such as the binturong and fishing cat. Other highlights include the talented Thumbuakar performers, who will enthrall you with their jaw-dropping fire-breathing stunts.

Explore the mystery of the night on your own with four walking trails that promise sightings of animals, such as the elusive pangolin and the shy barking deer in their naturalistic habitats. Get up close and personal with night creatures, such as the wallaby and tawny frogmouth at the newly launched Wallaby Trails that features 13 animal species from the Australasian region. The safari tour will end at around 9.30pm. After that, head back to your cruise for overnight accommodation. Trip ends.

Half day trip to Sentosa

Meet your guide and driver upon pickup at the Cruise Terminal in the afternoon to set off for Sentosal Island. Board a “Jewel Cable Car” ride from Mount Faber en route to Sentosa and enjoy a stellar panoramic view of Singapore port along the way.  At Sentosa, watch the immersive “Image of Singapore” for a glimpse into the past. Enjoy a cooling drink before climbing to the crown of “The Merlion” for a spectacular 360° view of seabound Sentosa and the breathtaking ultra-modern city skyline.  After that, stop at the “Underwater World”, one of the largest oceanariums in the world with an 83-meter long acrylic sea floor tunnel that offers a diver’s view of the rich marine life.  Then arrive at the “Dolphin Lagoon” just in time for a thrilling acrobatic performance by intelligent pink dolphins. Complete your tour with a mesmerizing “Song of the Sea” show, a synchronized display of pyrotechnics, laser and music staged next to a splendid beach. Then your guide will take you back to the cruise. Trip ends.
